Libraries now offer use of computers for internet research. There may be a small charge.
Also your local library service may have placed its catalogue on line, www.Devon.... which enables you to search for titles, by author, subject and to order books which are not held at your local branch library.
Many colleges and universities will allow local people to register to use their library facilities. It may not be possible to borrow books, but reference library resources may be available.
The Chartered Management Institute has a specialist library of 1,000’s of management titles, available only to its members. You can register for student membership. The librarians will also help with reading lists and researching relevant articles. There are some charges for this service.
Large employers with learning and development teams often hold copies of books, articles, videos and cd roms which can be used for individual study. Ask for a list, or provide a list of what you are looking for.
Can have relevant articles for management study. Sometimes articles are displayed on the website, which avoids the cost of purchasing the journal.

Why not ask around - or send out an email - to fellow employees, to track down management books which they already have purchased?
