UK Cultural Tour by Tibetan refugee Children from India

Eleven Tibetan refugee children, aged between 13 and 15, from the Tibetan Homes Foundation (India) as part of a short U.K. tour. The children will present rarely seen Tibetan songs, dance and music, which are very popular in different parts of Tibet. Their performance includes Yak-tse (Yak Dance), Tashi Shoelpa (Songs and Dance of Good Luck from the Shoel of Lhasa), Kham Bashey (Dance from Kham, East Tibet), Truk-shey (Quicksteps Dance), Drowa Dodhung (Drums Dance) and Dranyen Shedpa (Lute Dance).

This is an historic event, which is organised by the Tibet Foundation, a London based charity.
