Making Friends at Port Arthur

It's three in a row for White Hippos Productions as they return with their third original play in three years. After last year's sell out show 'The 12:03 with Yorkshire Pudding' take another journey with the White Hippos as they explore the lighter side of the darker side of human nature. Where do you go when freedom is the biggest danger? When British criminals were sent half way around the world to serve time in Australasia, many were incarcerated at the infamous Port Arthur prison. Upon release most found that life outside the prison was so incredibly harsh that they re-offended, just to get back in. Join The White Hippos as they reinvent the classic movie genre, by escaping badly to prolong their sentence and stay on the inside. Resurrecting the comic style of the classic Ealing comedies, 'Making Friends at Port Arthur' is a show you will definitely want to go out for... Or should that be stay in for?
