Dracunculus muscivorus (#Helicodiceros muscivorus)

Aptly named the "Dead Horse Arum" for the revolting stench the open flowers produce, fortunately for just a few hours. The yawning 30cm long open spathe displays the hues of putrid flesh and is most attractive - to insects. Totally unsaleable!
